Correcting and expanding results of \textit{D. Dentcheva} and \textit{S. Helbig} [ibid. 89, 325-349 (1996; Zbl 0853.90101)], different notions of well-posedness and strong well-posedness of vector optimization problems are discussed. Counterexamples are used to show that the conditions for strong well-posedness given in the above mentioned reference are not sufficient. Alternative sufficient conditions are provided and the affected results are revised accordingly. Moreover, an alternative definition of well-posedness and strong well-posedness is suggested for which sufficient conditions guaranteeing this type of well-posedness of vector optimization problems and of perturbed vector optimization problems in connection with the vector-valued Ekeland variational principle are developed.
