Unstable manifolds for RFDEs under discretization: The Euler method (Q5948883): Difference between revisions

The author studies the behaviour of an unstable manifold of a retarded functional differential equation (RFDE) under discretisation by the Euler method. It is shown that, under some technical assumptions, it remains close to its discretised counterpart for sufficiently small stepsizes. The unstable manifolds are explicitly constructed by the method of Perron.
