The authors prove that any multi-filtered algebra \(R\) with a semi-commutative associated graded algebra \(G(R)\) can be re-filtered by finite-dimensional subspaces keeping the semi-commutativity on the new associated graded algebra. Then results of \textit{J. Gómez-Torrecillas} [Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 42, No. 1, 155-168 (1999; Zbl 0931.16012)] are applied to get the exactness of the Gelfand-Kirillov dimension for finitely generated modules and that the algebra is left and right finitely partitive in the sense of \textit{J. C. McConnell} and \textit{J. C. Robson} [Noncommutative Noetherian rings, Wiley, Chichester (1987; Zbl 0644.16008)]. This applies in particular to quantized enveloping algebras because they are multi-filtered (by infinite-dimensional subspaces), iterated differential operator algebras, quantum matrices and quantum Weyl algebras.
