There are many methods that have been developed in order to approximate and analyze the response of different nonlinear oscillators under random perturbations. One of the most recent methods, which is an extremely accurate one, was developed by the authors of the present paper. The main purpose of this paper is to present a practical implementation of the coherence function for evaluating the linear degree of a stochastic system. The results are applied on Duffing and Van der Pol systems.
