    Here, the following three-point boundary value problem: \[ \ddot u +f(t,u)=0,\;t \in (0,1), \] \[ u(0)=0,\;\alpha u(\eta)=u(1), \] is considered under the assumptions: \(\eta \in (0,1)\), \(\alpha >0\), \(\alpha \eta <1\) and \(f:[0,1]\text{x}[0,1] \rightarrow [0, \infty)\) is continuous and \(f(t,\cdot)\) does not vanish identically at any subset of \([0,1]\) with positive measure. The existence of three positive solutions to this problem is studied applying the Leggett-Williams fixed-point theorem [\textit{R. W. Leggett} and \textit{L. R. Williams}, Indiana Univ. Math. J. 28, 673--688 (1979; Zbl 0421.47033)].
