This paper is devoted to the study of some properties of a new family of multi-index Lucas type polynomials. The authors consider the possibility of using families of multi-index Hermite polynomials to construct corresponding families of Gegenbauer and Dixson polynomials, considering some properties and their applications in quantum optics. In a forthcoming investigations the authors outline more deeply the study introduced in this paper.
