    The result on hydrodynamical limit for the generalized exclusion process contained in the paper by \textit{C. Kipnis, C. Landim} and \textit{S. Olla} [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 47, No. 11, 1475-1545 (1994; Zbl 0814.76003)] has been extended in a stronger version to the case of infinite volume. The difference between the process and the solution to the hydrodynamic equation is shown to converge to zero in the \(H_{-1}\) norm.
