This paper deals with a theory of conjugate functions connected with duality considerations. It generalizes the well-known theory for convex function initiated by Fenchel and established by Rockafellar for finite-dimensional spaces and by Moreau for topological vector spaces. The author studies a particular case, namely that of a convex composite function, which contains the convexity well-known case. The author extends the usual definitions of conditioning, well-posedness, and well behaviour of a convex function to the convex composite structure of a function. Finally the author studies the link between well-posedness of a nonconvex minimization problem in a metric space, conditioning, and well behaviour for the problems under considerations.
