This paper is devoted to the generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation with critical exponent: \[ \begin{cases} u_t+ (u_{xx}+ u^5)_x= 0,\quad & (t,x)\in \mathbb{R}^+\times \mathbb{R},\\ u(0,x)= u_0(x),\quad & x\in\mathbb{R},\end{cases}\tag{1} \] for \(u_0\in H^1(\mathbb{R})\). The authors prove that there exist no blow-up solutions of the critical generalized KdV, that is for (1) with minimal \(L^2\)-mass, assuming an \(L^2\)-decay on the right on the initial data.
