In this paper, the author reviews Xia's analytic model for subnormal tuples of operators and a matricial decomposition of pure subnormal tuples due to Eschmeier and Putinar. Then the author provides a matricial construction of pure subnormal tuples of finite type by use of Xia's unitary invariants. In addition, the author gives necessary and sufficient conditions for some kind of operators to be the Xia invariants of a subnormal tuple.
