The main results are as follows: Denote \(P(X)=X^3-nX^2-n\), for any \(n\geq 2\), and let \(\alpha\) be the only real root of \(P\); let \(K=\mathbb Q(\alpha)\), let \(O_K\) be the ring of integers of \(K\), and denote by \(d_K\) the discriminant of \(K\) and by \(R_K\) the regulator of \(K\). Then (1) The minimal points of \(\mathbb Z[\alpha]\) are: \(\psi_0=1, \psi_1=\alpha, \psi_2=\alpha^2, \psi_3=\alpha^3/n\). (2) The fundamental unit of \(\mathbb Z[\alpha]\) is \(\psi_3\) and the length of the Voronoi algorithm is 3. (3) Let \(n=3^sn'\), where \(s,n'\in\mathbb N\) and \(n'\) is relatively prime to 3. If \(n\) is square-free, then \(O_K=\mathbb Z[\alpha]\) if and only if \((4n^2+27)/9^s\) is square-free. (4) If \(n\) and \((4n^2+27)/9^s\) are square-free then \(O_K=\mathbb Z[\alpha], d_K=-n^2(4n^2+27)\) and \(R_K=\text{ Log }(\alpha^2+1)\).
