This paper deals with the decentralized control problem (DSP). The authors focus themselves on two important aspects of DSP. First, separation of the DSP by physical coordinates will be a major tenet. Note that for engineering DSP of a structural dynamic nature, the use of physical coordinates allows also the joining of systems to be modeled using an additional stiffness term. The second aspects related to the stability of the DSP.
