Using the so-called five functionals fixed-point theorem due to \textit{R. I. Avery} [Math. Sci. Res. Hot-Line 3, No. 7, 9--14 (1999; Zbl 0965.47038)], the existence of at least three positive solutions is proved for the one-dimensional \(p\)-Laplacian subject to Dirichlet and nonlinear two-point boundary conditions.
