The so-called `classical tilting theory' has appeared in the 80's in the context of the representation theory of Artin algebras and has proved to be very useful. Among the generalizations to larger classes of rings, it can be mentioned the notion of \(*\)-modules. In this paper, the authors introduce the notion of \(*^n\)-modules and show that tilting modules of projective dimension at most \(n\) are \(*^n\)-modules which \(n\)-present all injective modules.
