Oscillation criteria for a class of neutral difference equations with continuous variable. (Q1427000): Difference between revisions

The oscillatory behavior of the second order nonlinear neutral difference equation: \[ \Delta^2_{\tau}(x(t)-px(t-\tau)) + f(t,x(g(t)) = 0 \] is studied with \(p\geq 0\), \(\tau>0\), \(r>0\), \(0<g(t)<t\), \(g\in C^{1}([t_0,\infty), \mathbb R_+)\), \(g'(t)>0\), \(t\in \mathbb R\), \(f\in C([t_0,\infty)\times \mathbb R,\mathbb R)\). The oscillation criteria are obtained via some integral transformation and the Riccati transformation.
