The paper introduces extensions of dynamical systems using completions of totally bounded uniform spaces. This construction is motivated by \textit{T. Pennings} and \textit{J. Peters} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 105, No. 1, 80--86 (1989; Zbl 0674.43003)] and based on \textit{F. Garibay} and \textit{M. Sanchis} and \textit{R. Vera} [Rend. Ist. Mat. Univ. Trieste 32, Suppl. 2, 47--57 (2001; Zbl 1007.54022)]. It is shown that transitivity, minimality and Devaney's chaos are preserved.
