The authors develop a new design method for the synchronization of hyperchaotic systems that can be applied to secure communication. The idea of the method is obtained from the feedback controller by using a suitable Lyapunov function and the Gerschgorin theorem. Chaotic communication systems with a high degree of security are derived in this paper. The simulation results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
