Algebraic \(q\)-skew derivations. (Q1888800): Difference between revisions

Let \(R\) be a prime ring with extended centroid \(C\) and left Martindale quotient ring \(R_{\mathcal F}\). Further, let \(\sigma\) be an automorphism of \(R\) and let \(\delta\) be a \(q\)-skew \(\sigma\)-derivation of \(R\). Various connections between the \(C\)-algebraicity of \(\delta\), left \(R_{\mathcal F}\)-algebraicity of \(\delta\), and \(C\)-algebraicity of \(\sigma\) are discovered. In particular it is shown that \(\sigma\) must be \(C\)-algebraic if \(\delta\) is \(C\)-algebraic and non-nilpotent.
