The properties of class of optimal Padé-type approximants are investigated in this article. This class of multivariate rational interpolants extends classical univariate Padé approximants. The ``de Montessus de Ballore's Theorem'' for meromorphic functions of several variables is proved. Examples and numerical results are considered.
