The paper is devoted to a class of quintic systems with linear and cubic homogeneous polynomials. The authors present a relation between focal values and singular point quantities and a recursive formula for calculating singular point quantities at infinity. Also two systems are constructed, belonging to the mentioned class, one of which allows the appearance of eight limit cycles in the neighborhood of infinity. The other system has six limit cycles near the origin.
