Solid flame waves appear when gas plays no significant role in the process of materials synthesis when a powder mixture of reactants is placed in a container or is cold pressed and ignited at one end. In Section 2 the mathematical model is derived while in Section 3 its stability is examined. Computational analysis provides visualization of solutions and various diagrams are presented in the last section of this very interesting paper.
