The invariant property of the M/G/N/0 says that its stationary state distribution is the same as the one in the M/M/N/0 queue conditioned that the average service times in both models coincide. The authors answer the question, whether the model BMAP/PH/N/0 is invariant with respect to the service time distribution. A negative answer is obtained as a corollary of numerical investigation of the system. Special attention is paid to the loss probability.
