The author studies a way of constructing a two-dimensional unisolvent array for Lagrange interpolation out of two unisolvent univariate arrays. A new construction of unisolvent arrays extends the classical idea of Biermann. These arrays enjoy interesting properties that owe much to the formalism introduced by Sauer and Xu. All the results are based upon a careful ordering of the points of an unisolvent array.
