Local completeness, drop theorem and Ekeland's variational principle (Q2568941): Difference between revisions

In this paper there are established several results related to variational principles in locally convex spaces. It is also argued the equivalence between the drop theorem, Ekeland's variational principle and Caristi's fixed-point theorem. The author also gives a direct proof of a general Phelps lemma in locally convex spaces.
