Let \(A\) be a triangular quadratic string algebra. In the paper under review the author shows that the ring structure on the Hochschild cohomology of \(A\), given by the Yoneda product, is trivial. If \(A\) is additionally gentle, it is also shown that the Lie algebra structure on the Hochschild cohomology of \(A\), given by the bracket product, is also trivial.
