Left conjugacy closed loops of nilpotency class two. (Q2581109): Difference between revisions

We know that loops with Abelian inner mapping groups are always nilpotent, but their nilpotency degree can be greater than two. In contrast with the general case, the authors show in this paper that a left conjugacy closed loop \(Q\) is of nilpotency class two if and only if its inner mapping group is nontrivial Abelian. We have also in this paper various characterizations and constructions concerning left conjugacy closed loops of nilpotency class two. In particular, the authors describe all nilpotent left conjugacy closed loops of order \(p^2\) including the isomorphism problem.
