This paper presents a phase space appropriate to the study of the convergence of a numerical solution of a neutral differential equation with infinite delay. The authors give an approximation scheme which uses initial data restricted to finite intervals at every stage of computation. The convergence is uniform on compact intervals and the initial data may be unbounded.
