When \(\theta =p\pi /q\), where p and q represent positive integers, \(0<p<2q\), \((p,q)=1\), for the Clausen integral \(Cl_ 2(\theta)=- \int^{\theta}_{0}\ln (2 \sin (t/2))dt,\) the author obtains a finite series expansion in terms of the derivative of the di-gamma function \(\psi\). Essential for this purpose is the representation of the following integral of \(Cl_ 2(\theta)\) different from, but equivalent to it: \[ Cl_ 2(\theta)=-\sin \int^{1}_{0}(\frac{\ln \rho}{\rho^ 2-2\rho \cos \theta +1})d\rho,\quad 0<\theta <2\pi. \]
