    Soit \(\Sigma\) une \(C^{\infty}\)-variété de dimension n, \(\Omega = \overset\circ \Omega\subset \Sigma\), tel que \({\bar \Omega}\) soit une sous-variété fermée, de classe \(C^{\infty}\). On donne d'abord des démonstrations détaillées pour l'invariance par rapport à la composition de la classe des opérateurs de Green \[ A=\left( \begin{matrix} P_{\Omega}+G\\ T\end{matrix} \begin{matrix} K\\ S\end{matrix} \right): \times^{C^{\infty}_{(0)}({\bar \Omega})^ N}_{C_ 0^{\infty}(\partial \Omega)^ M}\to \times^{C^{\infty}({\bar \Omega})^{N'}}_{C^{\infty}(\partial \Omega)^{M'}}, \] oùP\({}_{\Omega}\) représente la restriction à \(\Omega\) de l'opérateur pseudo-différentiel P, G est un opérateur de Green singulier sur \({\bar \Omega}\), T est un opérateur de trace (de \({\bar \Omega}\) à \(\partial \Omega)\), K est un opérateur de Poisson (de \(\partial \Omega\) à \({\bar \Omega}\)) et S est un opérateur pseudo- différentiel sur \(\partial \Omega\). On améliore aussi certaines formules de composition. On prouve ensuite que si \({\bar \Omega}\) est compacte, G est un opérateur de Green singulier sur \({\bar \Omega}\) d'ordre \(-d<0\) (et de classe 0) et \(s_ k(G)^ 2\) sont les valeurs propres de \(G^*G\), alors \(s_ k(G)k^{d/n-1}\to C(g^ 0)\) pour \(k\to \infty\), où \(C(g^ 0)\) est une constante dépendant du symbol principal \(g^ 0\). Finalement, pour illustrer l'utilité de cette théorie, on montre comment obtenir de nouveaux resultats spectraux pour certains opérateurs de la théorie des problèmes aux limites extérieurs.
