The classical Ważewski principle established with respect to ordinary differential equations and extended for dynamical systems in finite dimensional spaces cannot be directly applied as a simple generalization in infinite dimensional Banach spaces. The fundamental idea of Ważewski may be however used in a modified form in those general spaces. Such a general application and modification of the Ważewski method by using simultaneously the fixed point index method is presented by the author as applied for infinite dimensional dynamical systems and processes. The author obtains in this way natural extensions of classical results concerning asymptotic behavior and boundary value problems.
