[For part I see: the first two authors, \textit{L. A. Tusheva} and the fourth author, ibid. 11, 187-206 (1983; Zbl 0511.76064).] The authors introduce a classification of finite-difference approximations according to stability, accuracy dispersion, and dissipation for the conservation equations of gasdynamics. The work represents a very useful survey. Unfortunately, some of the tables given are almost impossible to read.
