Using the decomposition theorem of \textit{C. V. Negoită} and \textit{D. A. Ralescu} [Application of fuzzy sets to systems analysis (1975; Zbl 0326.94002)], the authors give neat proofs of some known theorems for the induced spaces. Moreover, the closure and interior operators, separability, \(C_ I\), \(C_{II}\) and separation properties of the induced spaces are investigated as well.
