    Verff. definieren eine Struktur auf einer Raum-Zeit über einen linearen Operator f (Rang 2), der im jeweiligen Tangentialraum wirkt und der Gleichung \(f^ 3-f=0\) gehorcht. Es wird ein Satz über den Riemann- Tensor bewiesen, mit dessen Hilfe Vakuum-, Einstein- und konform flache Raum-Zeiten mit einer solchen Struktur charakterisiert werden. Als physikalische Beispiele werden das Skalarfeld (Ruhmasse \(=0)\) und das elektromagnetische Feld (nichtsingulär) behandelt.
