We distinguish those motions of a dynamical system \(\pi\) : \({\mathbb{R}}\times X\to X\) on a complete metric space X for which the corresponding positive \(\omega\)-limit set is a minimal set of almost periodic motions, and thus resolve several questions centered around a problem posed by Nemytskii and Stepanov. A characterization of asymptotically almost periodic motions of \(C_ 0\)-semigroups of operators on X sets the stage for our development.
