    Let X be a set and \(<L,\bigvee,\bigwedge,'>\), a completely distributive lattice with order reversing involution. If (X,U) is a uniform space then \(\Delta_ U\) is the identity iff the topology induced by U is \(T_ 0\). If \(L\neq \{0,1\}\) then the fuzzy interval I(L) is not \(T_ 0\); hence it is not fuzzy metrizable.
