    Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring and let \(\pi\) be a finite abelian group. Let \(G_ n(\Lambda)\) denote the Quillen G-theory of the category of finitely generated modules over a ring \(\Lambda\). The author establishes formulas for \(G_ n({\mathbb{Z}}\pi)\) and \(SG_ n(R\pi)=\ker (G_ n(R\pi)\to G_ n({\mathbb{Q}}\otimes R\pi))\) which are analogous to \textit{H. W. Lenstra}'s formula for \(G_ 0({\mathbb{Z}}\pi)\) [ibid. 20, 173-193 (1981; Zbl 0467.16016)] and which confirm a computation of the reviewer for \(G_ 1({\mathbb{Z}}\pi)\), \(\pi\) arbitrary [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 14, 148-152 (1976; Zbl 0344.20003)]. Given a cyclic quotient group \(\rho\) of \(\pi\), let \({\mathbb{Z}}(\rho)\) be the ring of integers in the cyclotomic field of \(| \rho |\)-th roots of unity, let \(R(\rho)=R\otimes {\mathbb{Z}}(\rho)\), and let \(R<\rho >=R(\rho)[1/| \rho |]\). The formulas are \[ G_ n({\mathbb{Z}}\pi)\cong \oplus G_ n({\mathbb{Z}}<\rho >)\quad and\quad SG_ n(R\pi)\cong \oplus SG_ n(R<\rho >), \] where both summations are taken over the set of all cyclic quotients of \(\pi\). A corollary is that \(SG_ n({\mathbb{Z}}\pi)=0\) for \(n>0\).
