Kinetic ideas about the motion of a set of particles (droplets) in a turbulent gas flow with gradient are used to derive a Fokker-Planck equation for the case of sufficiently large particles (more than few microns). This equation describes the process in which they are deposited on the wall of a channel. Under the assumption that the parameters of the carrier gaseous flow vary fairly slowly, a generalized equation is derived for particle diffusion in turbulent flow. This takes into account the intensity gradient of transverse pulsations in the velocity of the carrier gaseous flow.
