The definition of the LG\({}^*\)-integral, describing it by the primitive function, was given by the first author [Mat. Sb., Nov. Ser. 99(141), 84- 120 (1976; Zbl 0332.42012)]. The paper under review contains the constructive definition of that integral and the proof that if a function is Denjoy integrable in the narrow sense and \(LG^*\)-integrable then the value of its \(D^*\)-integral and \(LG^*\)-integral coincide.
