In this paper the author proves the inequality \((1)\quad \| F\|_{2,n}\leq c(T\Omega)\| f\|_{A_ T},\) where F is the Fourier transform of f, \(\| F\|_{2,\Omega}\) is the \(L^ 2\)-norm of F on \([-\Omega,\Omega]\| f\|_{A_ T}\) is the absolutely convergent Fourier series norm for 2T-periodic functions, and c(T\(\Omega)\) depends on the product \(T\Omega\) ; the proof depends on the sampling theorem. The point of the paper is the simplicity of proof, compared with analogous results, and the fact that the constant c(T\(\Omega)\) is explicitly computed.
