An explicit formula for the optimal value of the condition number is obtained using \textit{T. J. Rivlin}'s results [SIAM J. Numer. Analysis 12, 712-725 (1975; Zbl 0322.65010)]. An algorithm, a corresponding FORTRAN implementation for computing derivatives of interpolating polynomials and a table for condition numbers are given.
