Solvability in inverse semigroups (Q1083554): Difference between revisions

The least commutative congruence on an inverse semigroup is characterized in terms of its kernel and trace. By using this characterization, a notion is introduced, which extends to inverse semigroups the classical notion of solvability in groups. Several properties are studied, in order to generalize well-known theorems from Group Theory.
