Let \(t(n)\) be an arithmetical function. It is shown that \(F(n)+t(n)\) is uniformly distributed mod 1 for every additive function \(F\) if there is a sequence \(P_k\) of sets of primes with the property that \(\sum_{p\in P_k} \frac1p\to \infty\) and \(t(pn)-t(qn)\) is uniformly distributed mod 1 for every \(p,q\in P_k\), \(p\neq q\).
