Let B be a real separable Banach space, \({\mathbb{N}}=\{1,2,...\}\) and \(f: {\mathbb{N}}\to B\) be a mapping with the property that \(f(m\cdot n)=f(m)+f(n)\) for coprime m,n\(\in {\mathbb{N}}\). For fixed \(n\in {\mathbb{N}}\) denote by \(\mu_ n\) the probability measure in B defined by the equality \[ \mu_ n(A)=(1/n)card\{m: m\leq n,\quad f(m)\in A\},\quad A\subset B. \] When \(B={\mathbb{R}}\), the Erdős-Wintner theorem gives necessary and sufficient conditions on f for weak convergence of \((\mu_ n)\). The author found such conditions for the spaces \(\ell_ s\), \(1<s<\infty\).
