Let \(a=(a_ 1,...,a_ N)\), \(T=(T_ 1,...,T_ N)\) and if \(a_ i\leq t_ i<T_ i,\quad i=1,...,N,\) then we write \(t\in [a,T)\) where \(t=(t_ 1,...,t_ N).\) Suppose that the following conditions 1)-6) are satisfied: \(1)\quad \beta (t)\geq 0,\) \(t\in [a,T);\) \(2)\quad g(t,x)>0,\quad t\in [a,T),\quad x\in R;\) \(3)\quad \phi (t,.),g(t,.)\) are non-decreasing functions on R; 4) The equation \[ y(t)=\int^{t}_{0}\beta (s)g(s,\phi (s,y(s)))ds,\quad t\in [a,T), \] has an unique solution y(t); 5) There exists a function \(G(t,y),\quad t\in [a,T),\quad y\in R,\) with continuous partial derivatives, such that \(G(0,0)=0\) and \[ \frac{\partial^ NG(t,y(t))}{\partial t_ 1...\partial t_ N}\leq \frac{1}{g(t,\phi (t,y(t)))}\cdot \frac{\partial^ Ny(t)}{\partial t_ 1...\partial t_ N}; \] 6) There is \(\tilde T\in (a,T)\) so that the equation in z, \(G(t,z)=\lambda,\quad \lambda \geq 0,\quad t\in [a,\tilde T),\) has a solution \(z=H(t,\lambda)\) which is non-decreasing in \(\lambda\). The main result of the paper under review is the following: If \[ u(t)\leq \phi (t,\int^{t}_{a}\beta (s)g(s,u(s))ds),\quad t\in [a,T), \] then \[ u(t)\leq \phi (t,H(t,\int^{t}_{a}\beta (s)ds)),\quad t\in [a,\tilde T). \]
