In this paper, the author relates three models of blood flow in organs by defining operators in which the concentration of tracer has the form of a convolution. The three models that are discussed are the Krogh convolution model [the author and \textit{T. R. Harris}, ibid. 46, 247-268 (1984; Zbl 0536.92013)], that of Goresky (1970) and that of \textit{Rose} and \textit{Goresky}, Circulation Res. 39, 541-544 (1976).
