We describe an inductive construction of the n-dual of the nth Brown- Gitler spectrum based on the theory of higher Hopf invariants [the author and \textit{S. Zarati}, C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 296, 695-698 (1983; Zbl 0534.55009); ``Invariants de Hopf d'ordre supérieur et suite spectrales d'Adams'' (to appear)]. As a by-product of this construction we get that T(n) is a stable summand of a space as conjectured by \textit{H. Miller} [Ann. Math., II. Ser. 120, 39-87 (1984; Zbl 0552.55014)].
