The following generalization of earlier results is proved: If A and B are subsets of the line, each having positive outer Lebesgue measure, then the set \(A+B\) of all numbers \(a+b\) with \(a\in A\) and \(b\in B\), has the full outer Lebesgue measure in an interval.
