An efficient method for the long-term integration of the system \(\dot x=f_ 0(x)+\epsilon f_ 1(x)\) is given where \(\epsilon\) is a small parameter and the unperturbed system (1) \(\dot x=f_ 0(x)\) has periodic solutions only. The solution of (1) is not to be known. Applications to the main problem of artificial satellite theory are given.
