Three models are discussed: a simple model of an infectious disease, a more detailed model of \textit{G. I. Marchuk} and \textit{R. V. Petrov} [see Vychisl. Protsessy Sist. 1, 5-19 (1983; Zbl 0572.92008)] of the antiviral immune response, and a modification of the Marchuk-Petrov model proposed by the author where cells of the immune system are targets for viruses. This model can be of interest in connection with AIDS.
