From the notion of almost strictly copositive real symmetric matrices of order n further notions are obtained if any of the underlined attributes (or both) is (are) dropped, or `strictly' is replaced by a `-plus' posed after `copositive'. In particular, matrix classes labelled with `almost' consist of matrices whose all principal minors of order n-1 belong to the corresponding class without this label. The author gives different necessary and sufficient conditions for real symmetric matrices to belong to some of the classes in consideration; some of the results are sharpened versions of statements in earlier papers of the author [see e.g. ibid. 101, 135-165 (1988; Zbl 0646.65039)].
